Information, for processing and tracking most of the programs managed by the
Department of Social Services. It is the county’s first completely
integrated human services software.

development team, building an integrated n-tier system used to track and
process many different social programs implemented by the Department of Soc=
ial
Services. The system consisted of approximately 800 VB 32-bit clients making
DCOM calls to a business layer residing in COM+ on a Win 2000 application
server. The business layer ma=

calls to a data access layer also residing on a Win 2000 application server,
which directly interfaced to SQL Server 2000 via data interfaces implemented

Ø Responsibility Summary: In a programmer role, was responsi= ble for converting the business requirements into technical designs and object models, coding middleware business and data layer objects in VB 6.0, design= ing table layouts, coding Graphical User interface in VB 6.0, and creating TSQL stored procedures. Was also responsible for automating and executing the weekly build of the entire pro= ject (90 VB Projects). Was instrumental in reducing the Build and Deployment Pro= cess time from several days to less than two hours. thereof (preventative and emergency maintenance, fuel tracking, tire usage,
etc). This system ran in an Open VMS environment using batch command script=
